MEET OUR TEAM!

Chloe’s role in the team is to manage the team, ensuring that all resources and the work of all team members come together seamlessly. Chloe helps where ever it’s needed and organises team meetings to discuss deadlines with resource manager and team. She works with the Graphic designer to update social media and work on portfolios. Personal objective: To successfully take feedback from last year’s team to improve leaderships skills, to guide the team to meet all deadlines.
TEAM MANAGER – Chloe Hounsham

Shaofeng’s role in the team is to construct the submarine, this includes; wiring of our submarine, waterproofing the interior electrical components, and testing everything runs smoothly. Shaofeng is also in charge of building the trade booth and using the 3D printer to print components. Shaofeng works closely with the design engineer to make sure the computer designs are the same as the physical design. Personal objective: To manufacture a submarine that is fully functioning and gain person experience in manufacturing the team submarine.

Abby’s role in the team is to produce all graphical concepts for the team; this includes the layout of documents and displays. She designed the layout for the booth and worked closely with all team members to produce a logo, that fits with the theme and has meaning. Abby designs the presentation of our social media platforms and website. She worked closely with all the team members to make sure all aspects are completed correctly and its something everyone is happy with it. Personal objective: To further develop graphic design skills and contribute to the team to improve my knowledge of engineering.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER – Abby Curti

Sharnee’s role in the team is to organise everyone and to make sure all work meets deadlines. She draws up charts to keep the team on track with budget, equipment and tasks. Sharnee works closely with the Team leader to gain sponsorship from stakeholders and uses the team email to get in contact. Personal objective: To successfully promote our team and gain new experiences and skills throughout this competition.
RESOURCE MANAGER – Sharnee Pearse

Gideon’s role in the team is to design the orthographic drawings of the submarine. He has cooperated with the Manufacturing Engineer to ensure that all components are manufactured to meet the design criteria. Personal Objective: To become more experienced in using industry-standard programs to create accurate CAD designs, and to have a positive impact on the team through the work.
